In this gripping psychological thriller, Menachem (played by Israeli actor Aki Avni), a religious soldier’s combat unit, is torn between his loyalty to his Rabbi (Assi Dayan), his duty as a Commanding Officer and his love for the Rabbi’s daughter (Tinkerbell). When he is suddenly arrested and violently interrogated by the Secret Service, and charged with planning to bomb the holy mosque on the Temple Mount, Menahem has to examine his conscience and everything he has ever believed in.

Won Best Film, Best Actor (Aki Avni), Best Actress (Tinkerbell), Best Cinematography, Best Editing and Best Screenplay at the 2000 Israeli Film and Television Academy Awards and nominated for Best Foreign Film for the 2001 U.S. Academy Awards.
